Tenuta Tamburnin among fiords: monday 12th of February we will be in Oslo

We’re ready to lead our Monferrato among fiords! On monday 12th of February , we will be in Oslo, Norway ‘s capital city to attend Barolo & Friends Event organized by I Vini del Piemonte.The event will be held at the Gamle Logen and will be divided into three distinct moments: a first session exclusively reserved to trade representatives; a second session dedicated to wine lovers, selected with the collaboration of the sommelier associations and some of the most important Norwegian wine clubs. And finally, a promotional moment reserved to representatives of Vinmonopolet (the Norwegian State Monopoly).
We’ll also attend to a Masteclass directed to consumers entitles : “Piemontese red supertrio, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto” hosted by the sommelier Sandro Minella.
Norway’ s wine market
Norway is nowadays one of the most important worldwide market for excellent wine: in the last fifteen years , imports of italian wine have more the doubled , italians labels are at first place and concering the consumption of red wines 16,5 billion of litres had been imported in 2016 against 5,3 from Spain and 4,1 from France. Piedmont is the second region overall, thanks to more than 3 billions of litres imported in 2016 with a turnover of more tha 59 billion of euro, thanks to big red piedmontese wines ‘s success , Barolo and Barbera firstly ,however there is still a growing potential on amounts , regional growth and product ‘s variety.
