Tenuta Tamburnin at Prowein Dusseldorf 2017 (March 19th-21th)

Tenuta Tamburnin will attend to Prowein 2017, the big wine exibition in Dusseldorf, on March the 19th , 20th and 21st at De.sa.( hall 15 – booth 03) Diwinexport Consortium.

Wine tasting will focus on Albugnano Doc 2014 fist vintage , Freisa d’Asti Doc Superiore 2013 and both the white and the red Vermouth.

The Albugnano Doc is a launch for the german market: a very small doc that takes its name from a village in Asti area, at 549 altitude metres on the sea , where nebbiolo grape is historically coltivated and vinified. Albugnano is madey by 100% nebbiolo variety.

Six years ago, fist nebbiolo wineyards were planted. The 2014 is the fist vintage , and just 2300 bottles  have been bottled on July 2016.

Albugnano Doc was born in 1997 , as young and niche title, it boast just 30 acres of vineyards , 15 producers and 50 thousand bottles with just 100 thousand bottles as potential.  Albugnano Doc vinification is allowed in just  4 small municipalities : in addition to  Albugnano, at Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Pino d’Asti and Passerano Marmorito, that become famous due to a Giorgio Faletti comic sketch .
