Ready for Prowein 2018: from March 18th to 20th, at Düsseldorf

We’re leading Monferrato ‘s hills at Prowein in Düsseldorf : from March 18th to 20th, we’ll be located at Hall 15- Stand A51 – Booth 103 .

Albugnano Doc 2015 is a launch for the foreign market : a very small doc that takes its name from a village in Asti area, at 549 altitude metres on the sea , where nebbiolo grape is historically coltivated and vinified. Albugnano is madey by 100% nebbiolo variety.

10 years ago ,our fist nebbiolo wineyards were planted. Albugnano Doc awarded 90 points and Decanter Silver Medal .

Albugnano Doc was born in 1997 , as young and niche title, it boast just 30 acres of vineyards , 15 producers and 70 thousand bottles with an higher bottles as potential.  Nebbiolo grapes for Albugnano Doc are allowed to be coltivated in just  4 small municipalities : in addition to  Albugnano, at Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Pino d’Asti and Passerano Marmorito.

Together with others winery , we fouded Albugnano 549 ,  a new association that is working on a new policy document and a promotion project.

In addiction to Albugnano Doc , wine tasting will focus on :  Barbera d’Asti docg Superiore “La Malandrona” 2015, Monferrato Rosso Doc “Il MoRo” 2015, Freisa d’Asti doc Superiore “Le 3 Seuri” 2014, Piemonte doc Chardonnay 2017, Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco doc 2017,  Red and White Vermouth.
